"You know, you're currently breaking every single one of Mr. D's rules by being in here right now,"

Percy locked my cabin door, turning to me with a small smile. I laid under the covers of my bed, a small smile on my face as I watched Percy move throughout the room.

"Oh yeah? Maybe you should remind me of them, I must have forgotten,"

"All campers must be in their respective cabins by eleven, no exceptions. Girls and boys must be separated, even those with the same godly parent. And, of course, there is to me no intermingling of any campers of different godly parents in cabins after eleven,"

Percy hummed, squatting down and patting the sleeping wolf on the head, before climbing into the bed with me. I grinned up at him as he crawled under the covers, turning so that we faced one another.

"You've had a long day. Tyson, the bull, Luke and Sadie, and then of course Thalia. I think Chiron would fight Mr. D on this and tell me I'm allowed to stay in here,"

"It's not like you sneak in once a week or anything," I teased. Percy rolled his eyes, reaching out and pulling me closer to him with a grin.

"Oh yeah? Should we talk about how you sneak into my cabin once a week too?"

"That's different!"

"Really?"

"Yes, because I'm a lot more secretive about it than you are,"

Percy rolled his eyes as I laughed at him. We settled into a comfortable silence, just staring at one another as his hand trailed up and down my side soothingly.

I craved moments like this, especially after a day like today. Sweet, intimate moments with Percy were my favorite. He knew every trick in the book to calm me down or make me smile, and I was forever grateful for it. I was forever grateful for him.

"It's almost been a whole year since we saved the world,"

"Yes it has,"

"That means it's been a whole year since we've been together,"

"Wow, really? Is that how anniversaries work?" Percy rolled his eyes at me again as I leaned forward, placing a kiss on the tip of his nose. "I know, Percy. It's been a good year, and now we're about to get thrown back into reality."

I knew Percy could probably sense my immediate change in attitude. I knew my mood had shifted as well. This past year had been a breath of fresh air for all of us. True, there had been monsters here and there sent to kill us by Luke, but it was different. Now that the prophecies were out there, it was almost like a weight had actually been lifted off of my shoulders. Percy was calm about the idea of the prophecies, he didn't stress over them like I had. We spent this year as normal campers, not people who had saved the world, and we spent it together, not dwelling on the prophecies. But Luke just had to come back and ruin it.

"Are you worried about what's going to happen with Luke, or just with Thalia?" Percy asked, stroking my side once again. I flipped onto my back as Percy sat up, leaning on his arm over me as I looked up at him.

"Both, but I can't stop thinking about Thalia. We couldn't save her all those years ago, we just had to watch her die. Now, we basically have to do it all over again if we can't find a solution to the problem,"

"And you, my genius girl, are going to talk to Chiron and Mr. D in the morning and figure everything out," he told me, sending me a big smile. I couldn't help but smile back, it was almost contagious. I grabbed the back of his neck, pulling him down into a kiss. He pulled back first, a teasing smile replacing his charming one. "I never understand why they invite you into their important discussions. Are you just their favorite camper?"

I laughed, shoving him slightly as we went back to laying side by side.

"I am far from being Mr. D's favorite camper, especially once I started dating you. I think I've just been around long enough, and I'm mature enough to help them with all of their decisions," Percy nodded, closing his eyes. Another thought popped into my head, though. "Speaking of their favorite campers, though, have you noticed anything off with Annabeth?"

"Really, that was your segway to Annabeth?" Percy questioned, popping one eye open as I rolled my eyes at him. "I'm normally looking at you so no, I haven't noticed anything."

"Okay, dork, I'm being serious. She hasn't been herself,"

"What do you mean?"

"The last few weeks she's been a lot more quiet when we're all together. And you know Annabeth, she's always loud and voices her opinion. When we're all together or if it's just the three of us she's been so quiet. I feel like maybe I did something wrong, you know? The last thing I need is my best friend mad at me when we're dealing with all of this."

Percy sighed, reaching out and tugging me into his side. I buried my head into Percy's chest as he placed a kiss on top of my head.

"I think you're stressed and overthinking. It's Annabeth, Luna, she tells you everything. Just get some sleep, it sounds like a tomorrow problem,"

"You say that about everything, though,"

"Goodnight Luna, I love you,"

It was that sentence right there that made everything else melt away. Thoughts of Annabeth, Thalia, and Luke and Sadie seemed like nothing when Percy said those words to me. Another one of his tricks.

"Goodnight Percy, I love you more,"
